Junto HLS is passionate about finding meaningful ways to positively impact the world and make a difference in the lives of others. We strive to support our local community, contribute to health and life sciences education, and donate to charitable organizations that help get resources to those truly in need.
Junto HLS sets aside a day or more each year to volunteer in our surrounding community. Some of the ways we have supported our community include: volunteering at a local food bank, cleaning up local parks, participating in food drives and volunteering at a local VA hospital. Junto HLS continues to find new ways to actively support the community in which we live and work.
Life Sciences Education
Our founder, Dan Farina, is a West Chester University alumnus and has continued to support the University’s Pharmaceutical Product Development (PPD) program by: volunteering at alumni events on Q&A panels, being a guest lecturer and providing scholarships and summer internships to PPD students.
Junto HLS believes that all lives have equal value and that everyone deserves a basic quality of life and that is why we support organizations and charities that promote the health, education and well-being of people throughout the United States and around the world.
American Red Cross
The American Red Cross exists to provide compassionate care to those in need. Our network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, here at home and around the world, through five key service areas: disaster relief, supporting America’s military families, lifesaving blood, health and safety services, and international services.
For more than twenty years, Water.org has pioneered safe water and sanitation solutions that give women hope, children health and communities a future. Water.org has been working alongside our network of certified, in-country partners to provide communities in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean access to safe water and sanitation.
Books For Africa
The mission of Books For Africa is to end the book famine in Africa. With your help, we will help create a culture of literacy and provide the tools of empowerment to the next generation of parents, teachers, and leaders in Africa. Books donated by publishers, schools, libraries, individuals, and organizations are sorted and packed by volunteers who carefully choose books that are age and subject appropriate.
